LoRaWAN Petrochemical Personnel Tracking is designed for personnel tracking / indoor RTLS, combining low-power LoRa / LoRaWAN connectivity with GPS/GNSS and optional BLE / Wi‑Fi positioning to support scalable deployments, remote device management and platform integration.
For personnel tracking / indoor RTLS projects, LoRa/LoRaWAN is well suited to low-power transmission of compact location, status and alarm data. Outdoor positioning can use GPS/GNSS. Indoor personnel projects typically combine BLE beacons, Wi‑Fi, zone infrastructure or another indoor positioning method, while LoRaWAN carries location, SOS and status data back to the platform.
Project evaluation normally covers LoRaWAN regional bands, positioning and reporting intervals, battery or charging strategy, IP protection, mounting or wearable design, Gateway and Network Server architecture, API/MQTT integration, platform functions, samples, MOQ, lead time and OEM/ODM requirements.
This solution is suitable for personnel tracking / indoor RTLS. Deployment should be designed around site coverage, positioning accuracy, power budget, device quantity and platform integration. Personnel projects should also include consent, access control, privacy and data-retention policies.
